Day 1: The trap

Hai!
Shine here, my turn to post. I like posting, its fun and .. Oh wait I'm getting off topic.
Alicia, took a long nap so it took a while before I could post and now I forgot what I was gonna write.

I had the whole thing planned out, I'd even throw in special effects. But its all gone, Shine is a sad shard now. 


Lets try this anyway.
The Instant had obviously read our blog. Yaro had written about how we left her behind in a nearby hide out. And that's where he went to strike. He sneaked around the house and managed to bypass the alarm system. He quickly reached the living room. There he saw the girl in the wheelchair typing on her laptop. She couldn't see or hear him. Her hood blocked her view of things behind her and the music was too loud. He paused, grinned and charged for the kill.

But the wheelchair turned around and a bullet was shot between his eyes. Alicia removed her hood and jumped up from her wheelchair before shooting him again in the chest.
Quickly two raptors jumped up from their hiding places and bit into his arms holding him down. He swore, a lot.

We had tricked him. We hadn't abandoned Yaro, Alicia switched places with her and played bait. Just as she said she would. Meanwhile Yaro was waiting in the car in case he figured it out sooner and tried to run. 
He was very pissed when he realized he had been tricked. I mean his face was rotting off so there wasn't much emotion visible but the constant swearing was a rather good clue.

Kyra then walked down the stairs to finish off the fucker. We had him right where we wanted him but then..
He ripped his own freaking arms off. Sure we shards can live without them but human arms don't just rip off that easily. (A good thing for you guys mostly.) So I was not expecting that, neither were the others. But his arms were rotten to the point where they didn't need much force to tear off.

He then jumped up and out the window and ran for it. We stood there for a few seconds, confused. The raptors were eating the rest of the arms. Once we realized what happened we sprinted to the car and let Yaro drive after the bastard.
One of Kyra's birds had already spotted him. Kinda hard not to spot a zombie with no arms running through the streets. Especially with a birds eye view. Pun intended.

Kyra pointed us into the right direction and we soon caught up. We jumped out the car and chased after him as he went into an alley. We signaled to Yaro to keep driving. 
Alicia shot at him but missed as he turned around the corner.
We panicked when further ahead a bus stopped and The Instant was heading right towards the crowd that was getting off.

Kyra sent a large crow after him as a distraction, it worked. The bird grabbed onto his head and made him stop running to try and get it off. This caused him to run into the middle of the street.
Yaro, who had caught up finally, rammed the car into him. 
We thought we had him right there and then. 

But the people coming out of the bus saw and rushed to help him!
Did they not see he was a fucking zombie? He played dead as one of the people tried to help him. And the other people threatened to call the cops on Yaro. So she drove back to pick us up and we got out of there.

We knew we had lost as soon as the man touched the corpse. No reason to stick around when the Instant could easily hide in the crowd or use them against us. But this was just our first attempt, we needed a new plan.


Well that was easier to write than I thought! I wonder though..
Why does it seem like Alicia's writing style is rubbing off on me?..
Well this is fun, who's next?
