Step 3: The storm
Once again at 3:30 AM, we went up on the roof. Looked at the Warehouse. "Kyra, wouldn't it be funny if for some reason the weather gods would say: "Fuck this building in particular." What do you think?"
Kyra:"Sounds like a great idea." She grinned.
Five minutes later a flock of convocation birds circled above the warehouse. Clouds soon formed a wind swept by and Boom. Lightning strike directly aimed at the warehouse. And then another. That one set a trashcan on fire. A third one. A fourth. OUCH, that's gotta hurt. One of the Nameless tried to run, not a smart move. He's toast now.
After that the birds flew away. Its still storming but its calming down. No more lightning.
Hey Instant, this is what you get when you try sending Kelevra after me. (If you didn't do that, oh well, you're still an asshole. So fuck you.)
Memo to self: Do not mess with the Convocation. Ever.

Operation ICS: Step two.
Step 2: Inverted Trojan Horse
At 3:32 AM this morning, a van smashed into the front door of the Instant's warehouse. Several nameless came out and surrounded the van. They were armed with large knives, scrap metal, crowbars. No guns as far as I could tell.
They counted.
1,2,3
They swung the doors open and then.. nothing. The van was empty.
I think the van smashing through the door at least hurt one of them though. Not sure how much he was hurt, oh well.
Step 2.b:
Echo just went up on the roof and screamed as hard as she could. Most windows of the warehouse shattered and some of other nearby buildings too. Oops.
We were over in the other building behind her. With as much sound proof stuff to keep our ears intact. And I still have a headache from it anyway. She really is like a Banshee. o.o

Operation I.C.S.: Step one.
Strategy, I have one.
Not gonna tell you about it because I'm sure the Instant sneaks a peak at my blog at times. So Instead I'll be posting each step after said step has been done.
Step One: Say hello.
We observed the building itself from a nearby roof. Not too long, just a few hours we stopped before the sun started setting. Can't see much in the dark after all. (No we don't have night vision goggles or other expensive stuff. Unfortunatly.)
Either last count was incorrect or the nameless are growing in numbers slowly. There were thirty of them this time. Scattered around the building. Looks like an old warehouse, two stories high. Haven't seen the Instant himself but Kyra says the birds saw him.
Before we left we walked to the edge of the roof and waved at them. Letting them know we are watching and that we'll strike soon. <x3
(They were expecting us anyway.)

Operation: Instant Coffee stain.
Things I call "Operations" Always go badly so, yeah not much hope for this one.
Frankly I have no idea how to make the Instant read from this book. Isn't there another way to trap him inside?
Also, because the Book calls to Shards, including Shine, I'm trying to stay away from it. I don't want to read from it but.. its tempting me. So I decided to let Kyra have the Book. Its safer that way.
Thought out several plans of attack. None of them seem safe enough to use.This is why I never plan too much, I suck at planning. And I realize it, so I start to worry about all that could go wrong and I end up not doing it. So Instead I jump right into it.
At least we know where the bastard is, thanks to the Convocation. The problem is him being surrounded by nameless. I mean they aren't heavily armed but there are a lot of them. Last count says 25.
Probably a cakewalk for guys like Incognito or Kelevra. Or Arkady, he'd just walk in and somehow come out alive anyway. But no, I'm just a little girl. I don't have experience doing this shit. I'm usually the one getting attacked and all I try to do is escaping.
The few times I was the one doing the attacking I only had a few enemies. Or I got my ass saved at the last minute. Even with the rake thing I got my ass saved and only took down three meanads.
Sure I got two team mates now, with powers too. But I really have no Idea how I'm gonna do this.
I can't rely on EAT's help either this time. I asked her, it said it was too busy with something important. I wonder if its still the same thing from last time. Whatever that was.
Even my kill count is exaggerated. Last time I said I passed 100. I lied. Its probably closer to Fifty. Which still sounds like a lot but like Twenty of them were an accident. It involved a bus full of proxies and a river. Don't ask.
I just counted the ones that fell into EAT's traps too. Why? Because I wanted proxies to be scared of me. And it worked, for the most part. So yeah, I'm fucked now.
Wait why am I so focused on fighting him. I've tried that in the past, I need a new approach. I need.. stealth.<x3

Now that I'm back I finally got me some rest. Can't fight the Eldritch when I'm passing out half the time. So while I'm recovering from my field trip into the Empty City (Worst trip ever, I wouldn't recommend this to ANYONE, Negative five star rating.) I'll take the time to get to know our new member, Echo.
I'm gonna pull a Kelevra here (as in mimicking his posts, I'm not actually gonna pull Kelevra, I'm not suicidal. No really I'm not.) and post this as if it was a medical file. Hence the title of this post.

Me: So, Echo.. mind telling me a bit about yourself?
Echo: ..I don't want .. to..
Me: ... I'll just ask you a few basic questions then, you don't have to answer if you don't want.
Echo: ...
Me: So .. Those screams of yours, how do you do those?
Echo: ..Do what?
Me: You know fry peoples brains with just your voice?
Echo: .. I don't know..
Me: Well then.. Have you always been able to do that or?
Echo:.. No.. it first happened when the voices told me to..
Me: Told you to what?
She looked away, obviously didn't want to answer that one.
Me: You hear voices then?
Echo: Yes.
Me: What do they say?
Echo:.. Who?
Me: The voices.
Echo: .. They tell me not to trust you.
Me: Why?
Echo: I don't know.. They say you are friends with the bird lady.. Kyra..She's dangerous.
(Can't argue with that.. She is dangerous.)
Now I had some ideas about Echo and the voices thing made me believe that one of them was correct. But I wasn't sure so:
Me: Hmm, do you happen to have any mold or fungus on your skin?
Echo: Fungus?.. Blood
Me: What?
Echo: Doctors said.. They found fungus in my blood.
Me: In your blood? Holy crap.
Echo: They lied, they wanted to cover up.. and kill me..DON'T LET THEM KILL ME!!
Me: Its okay, nobody here wants to kill you. I'll leave your room now. Dinner is at seven okay?
Echo: ... Okay..
Confirmed my suspicions. I was right. Also, she creeps me out.. a lot.

Chronic Choir Infection.
Carriers (she's technically not a greyskin, even though its the same thing) don't have a high life expectancy. There is no cure unfortunately (that I know of). She won't be surviving for very long. Poor girl.
Wish I could help her but I can't. Goddammit, this is why I hate the Fears.

Face off with the Slender man.
Sorry about the last post.
I really didn't expect the Slender man to show up in yggdrasill. I got up and ran as soon as I posted. I accidentally left the laptop back there. Luckily I didn't forget the Book.
He followed me all the way back to the upper layer. He just wouldn't give up, not even when he accidentally broke the tunnel wall. He almost fell through the hole too. o.o
That slowed him down enough to let me escape. Once I was back in the tower I woke up Alicia and told her we got the Book but the Slender man was chasing us. She panicked and jumped out of a window. D:
You make it sound like I wanted to kill myself..
Yes, I jumped out of a window. But that was because there was a roof of another building directly below us. And yes, I knew it was there. <.<
I've learned that the key to surviving encounters with the tall bastard requires improvising. Being unpredictable helps a lot. And whats more unpredictable than jumping out a window?
Jumping out of two windows?
...Actually that's more predictable. Anyway..
Once I was on the roof I looked back and saw him standing there in the window. With his head tilted to the side, watching me. I stared back at him.
Part of me was screaming in my head, telling me to run.
Wasn't me.
But this whole trip had left me completely exhausted. Plus I was on a frigging roof, where was I gonna run to? So I just stood there, tilting my head too. Mimicking him a bit.
Tentacles sprouted from his back and stared lashing around in the air. He himself was completely standing still though.
So yeah, I was completely fucked. And scared as shit. Seriously I was gonna fucking die!
But then suddenly..
The building(the one I was on) dropped. Like an elevator or something.
The whole frigging building dropped like fifteen stories. Leaving Slendy way up there. Of course he could just have "slenderwalked" over to me. But luckily a Door appeared next to me before he could do that.
So Yeah, I'm back. Mission accomplished bitches. <x3
Side note: Holy shit I got lucky. Was the Empty city helping me or something?... If so, WHY?..

The same Book I was trapped in thousands of years ago. A small but thick black book with silver markings. Its calling to me, it wants me to read it. If I read from it I'll be trapped inside. So nope not gonna happen. Gonna have to figure out how to get the Instant to read from it. :I
