I'm getting closer to the Object. Luckily Alicia is still "sleeping", she'd have gone mad by this point.
I know some of you think she's a psycho already. Because she's killed so many proxies. But if she was awake now her mind would get so damaged she'd either kill everything around her or she'd think she's a Cat nipple.

Don't get me wrong, the actual place LOOKS boring. But when you realize this place is made of parallel lines that intersect.. Yeah, Non euclidean Geometry, yay! :D
But yeah, otherwise its just like walking through endless tunnels in a cave. (The cave would be the size of several universes.) Except outside these tunnels, is nothing. Aside from the Core but that's a whole different topic. So its best not to bring anything that can explode into these tunnels. If the wall cracks and you fall through... D:

I'm freaking out.
Fucking hell.
We've reached the 279th floor finally. Even though the City made it fucking hard to get here. Every time we thought we were making progress, a wall appeared. So we had to go into the inner tower. Which looked like just a regular office building. Grey,white and boring but Green and weird as fuck too. I mean.. It was white,grey and green at the same time. I can't even explain it without it sounding like nonsense.
I don't know, I think I'm losing my mind in this place.
I told you this place has that effect on people. That's why I have to take over before we go into Yggdrasill, it just gets worse down there.
Yeah, I could use a rest right now. I haven't slept since we got here.
Anyway, all the while we were being followed by whatever it was. If there was anything at all that is. I mean I heard sounds behind me from time to time. And you know that feeling of being watched right? I had that all the time. I fucking hate that feeling. I could almost feel from what direction they were watching me but .. I just..
And then outside was even weirder. There were windows all around even where the stairs were supposed to be. Even though there were no windows whenever I was walking up the stairs. Only when I was inside..
And everything outside seemed to change every time I looked away. Buildings were shorter or taller than a second earlier, buildings moved or switched places Sometimes I could see the ground below other times I only saw the roofs of the buildings below us.
Just thinking about it is making me dizzy. I can't do this anymore, Shine take over for a while, I need to sleep..

Dreams like this weren't made to last.
Kyra reporting in.
I decided to retry the Scare&Chase tactic from my last post again. If I don't mention I want to find the Unnamed child, they might run to her for protection or whatever. This time Echo was there to help me so our chances of success were slightly higher.
Took us a few days to find the nameless again. Once again he was in a park. We moved quickly because the sun was starting to set. And I didn't want to chase this guy in the dark.
We walked up to him and Echo screamed at him before he noticed us. I rushed forward, grabbed his throat while he was disoriented and pushed him against the tree.
Him:" Shit, you again!"
Me:" Yes, me, again."
Him:"Let me go!"
I grinned as sadistically as possible to scare him. "No."
Him:"I won't tell you anything! You can't make me talk!"
"I don't want you to talk though, I want you to scream." I said while brushing the tip of my knife over his face.
It worked, he immediately panicked and stabbed me with a knife he had hidden. I pretended to not enjoy the pain and let him go. He saw a chance and ran. Echo wanted to grab him, I stopped her.
Me:" We don't want him dead, just follow him."
She nodded and we ran after him. Pretended to hunt him down, threw several knives at him. A bird had crawled out of my wound earlier and helped us keep track of him. Everything was going as planned.
But after three minutes of chasing him, everything went wrong.
Out of nowhere a man jumps up and tackles the nameless. Both of them stopped moving, me and Echo stopped running before realizing what happened.
Echo:" It..Its him! The shape shifter!"
Me: "Son of a bitch!"
The nameless opened his eyes and grinned. I'd recognize that fucking creepy, smug grin anywhere. The Instant, he had successfully taken over the nameless. Which meant he now knew the location of the Unnamed Child. Which means we were fucked.
I didn't give him a chance to get up and stabbed him through the chest before he could get on his feet. This didn't do much of course but it gave Echo time to come close and scream right in his face. I jumped out right before she did But it still hurt my ears.. (I should have brought ear plugs.)
He dropped to his knees but managed to roll away from her and started running. I tried to block his escape and slashed at him with my knife. It slashed through his shoulder but he just kept running and got past me.
Me:" Fuck!"
Me and Echo ran after him again. We chased him all the way until we reached an old playground. It was crawling with nameless, ten of them I think. And in the center of it all, a child, the Unnamed Child. She looked about four or five years old. Had a head slightly too big for a human child. Eyes were way larger than they should be, Black sclera ,green Irises. Her skin looked slightly reptilian, or just very dirty. And she wore a filthy rag that was supposed to be a dress.
Her sad expression would have made me feel sorry for her, If the birds hadn't taken my emotions away.
The Instant Walked straight towards her. We tried to catch him but the nameless blocked our way. They protected him, thinking he was one of them. Morons.
He looked back us and grinned. That fucking grin pisses me off every time.
Me: "Echo, Scream!"
Echo followed my order and screamed as loud as she could. This stunned the nameless and gave me time to cut myself open. A raptor jumped out of me and went straight after the Instant.
Echo jumped on one of the nameless and fried his brain with her screams.
The Instant struggled with the raptor. It bit off his hand before he stabbed it with his other hand. He cut open the raptor only to be attacked by a flock of birds that burst out of the raptor. He fell on the ground as they pecked on him.
Meanwhile the Unnamed Child, who had just been standing there, turned around and skipped away into the bushes. By this time my wound had closed up enough for me to intercept an attack of one of the nameless. I stabbed him in the gut and kicked him down. Turned around to slash another one's throat.
A third one jumped at me but I repelled him with an electric shock from my hand.
Echo was being assaulted by the five remaining nameless. I turned my attention to the Instant, who had just escaped from the birds. So I chased after him and let Echo deal with the nameless.
At that point I was getting exhausted. The Instant however doesn't have to deal with that stuff so he quickly caught up with the Unnamed Child.
I ran towards them, but before I could reach them the Instant reached out to her.
She turned around and flung his body into the trees as if it weighed nothing. But it was too late, he had managed to touch her. I realized that when She started crying. Her cries were louder and more painful than Echo's screams.
I could feel her sadness and pain.
And then suddenly, she stopped, looked up to me and .. that fucking grin appeared. I couldn't believe it, A shard just possessed a fucking Fear, that's not supposed to be possible!
Before I could get my thoughts back together, a bunch of nameless popped up. No idea where they came from. The Instant pointed a finger at me.
They looked towards me and charged at me, I ran.
Echo had dealt with the five nameless but was badly beaten up. I was surprised she could still run. Then again she didn't have much choice. Luckily we escaped.
But we failed.
And now we're all fucked beyond our worst nightmares.

I think something is following me
Ever since I went into this tower I've had this feeling that I'm no longer alone. But not in a good way. Maybe its just another way the City is toying with me or I'm being stalked. That or I'm just getting paranoid, I don't know.
Maybe its just this tower's eldritch geometry messing with my mind. Its certainly giving me a headache. Fucking hell.
That's normal, its only gonna get worse the higher we get.
What floor are we on now? I lost count.
The 96th.
...Damnit.
Also the time on my laptop looks kind of like this:

Found the Tower
Holy shit this thing is huge. Probably higher than any building on earth. But I could be wrong, I have no knowledge about buildings. Still, this thing is gigantic. And I doubt the elevators are working so.. fuck.
Actually they do work. But Elevators in the Empty city..

Nightmares were not made to last

I found the nameless in a park. My plan was to rough him up a bit before letting him go. Then have a bird follow him, in the hope he would return to his "mistress". But just as I had grabbed the bastard I felt a knife being jabbed into my backside.
I turned around and saw the Banshee bitch jumping at me from behind. She screamed right in my face and pinned me down while I was disoriented. Birds tried to crawl out of the wound on my backside. But her screams made them unable to move. The nameless managed to escape while I was trying to push this bitch off of me.
I was sure I was about to die right there but the Birds decided differently. Suddenly a shock of electricity ran through my hands and pushed her off of me. I got back on my feet and grabbed the knife that she stabbed me with.
The electricity had partially paralyzed her for a moment. So when she tried to get back up, she couldn't. She growled up at me, trying harder.
Alicia had asked me to try "befriending" the Banshee. I doubted it would work but I gave it a try anyway.
Me: So Banshee lady, why the hell are you attacking me all the damn time?
Her: You are... a threat... must kill bird lady.. before she kills me..
Me: Bird lady?..Seriously?
Her: You and the .. shape shifter, both.. must.. die
Me: I'm gonna guess you mean the Instant. See lady, I'm trying to kill that bastard too and I -
Her: I won't let you kill me!
Me: I'm not trying to kill you dammit, you're the one attacking me! The Instant however IS trying to kill all of us. So I'll offer a deal with you, you help me kill the Instant and I'll leave you alone forever. I won't harm you unless you try to attack me.
Her: Lies! lies!
At this point she was starting to crawl back on her feet and I was starting to get annoyed.
Me: Dammit woman, I don't even know you, why would I want you dead?
Her:..
Me: I don't even know your name for fucks sake. If you don't want to help that's fine but just don't get in my way. Although we both want this guy dead and working together would make that easier to do. (God, I almost sound like Alicia)

Well who was expecting that to work? Certainly not me. I still have no idea what she is though. I asked her about the Fears but she seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. So I'll just call her a Banshee. She seems mostly human, except her long cyan colored hair and two different colored eyes. Which could still be "normal" for humans. If the hair is dyed..
Those screams however aren't human. Maybe Alicia will find out more, she knows more about the Fears. Until then she'll just be a mystery I guess. One that hopefully won't murder me in my sleep.

And the Eldritchness starts to show.
The last message on the walls was: "Damn it woman get the hell out of h ".
After that one the Door disappeared and the messages stopped. Either the City realized it wasn't gonna work on me or I'm really screwed now.
I also see a huge tower in the distance. Shine says that's where we're supposed to go. Except we can't go there in a straight line because then we'd just get stuck in a "loop". Not a Slender man Loop but similar. The City would just keep repeating itself and the tower would never get closer.
Instead we're walking to the left, then right, then left, then right, then right, then right, then right then right, then left,etc.
And it SEEMS to be working. But in this place you can never be sure. Even if the tower seems to be getting closer. The buildings are also getting a bit.. distorted. Doors in windows, walls in shapes that shouldn't be physically possible, the Eiffel tower which appears to be melting.
Really weird stuff. But still no signs of life other than the City itself. Its creeping me out, silence is scary. Been walking for about a day now I think. Not sure though, the time on my laptop is stuck on 9:27 AM, and has been for a while.
I just hope Shine knows what she's doing.

After that one the Door disappeared and the messages stopped. Either the City realized it wasn't gonna work on me or I'm really screwed now.
I also see a huge tower in the distance. Shine says that's where we're supposed to go. Except we can't go there in a straight line because then we'd just get stuck in a "loop". Not a Slender man Loop but similar. The City would just keep repeating itself and the tower would never get closer.
Instead we're walking to the left, then right, then left, then right, then right, then right, then right then right, then left,etc.
And it SEEMS to be working. But in this place you can never be sure. Even if the tower seems to be getting closer. The buildings are also getting a bit.. distorted. Doors in windows, walls in shapes that shouldn't be physically possible, the Eiffel tower which appears to be melting.
Really weird stuff. But still no signs of life other than the City itself. Its creeping me out, silence is scary. Been walking for about a day now I think. Not sure though, the time on my laptop is stuck on 9:27 AM, and has been for a while.
I just hope Shine knows what she's doing.
